Sussex
The Sussex landscape is a constant source of inspiration in my work. From the wide open skies of the South Downs to the quiet rhythm of the coastline, these paintings explore atmosphere, light and a sense of place. Working intuitively with layered colour and texture, I aim to capture fleeting moments within familiar landscapes — the softness of sea mist, shifting weather, still water and expansive horizons. Each piece reflects a personal connection to Sussex and the calm, restorative quality of its natural spaces.
